High Involvement Train-the-Trainer Course Outline
High Involvement Train-the-Trainer Course OutlineWith the NQF progressing as it is, most companies need skilled trainers who can train their outcomes based programmes effectively. Trainers need to be able to develop their workshops efficiently and engage their learners in the learning process. It is essential that knowledge and skills are attained, retained and applied by the delegates who attend their workshops.
Workshop AimTrideco has been training trainers to international standards for many years. We have a number of workshops aimed at training practitioners; this specific workshop is aimed at trainers who have already attained a high degree of formal skills building in training. The workshop is focused on the further enhancement of the interactive training style of the trainers.
Competency Outputs
- At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Utilise the human competency model for identifying learner states
- Utilise appropriate helping styles
- Create a safe learning environment
- Use effective delivery techniques
- Use training aids effectively
- Engage and interact with the learner group
- Use basic training and facilitation skills to gain high involvement
MethodologyA combination of interactive presentations, group discussions, practical exercises and training skill practices allow the delegate to enhance their skills in using the various training behaviours, techniques and processes.
Because of the highly experiential nature of the workshop, each delegate is required to present modules of training for assessment and feedback purposes. This means that we work with a maximum of 5 delegates per Trideco facilitator. Where this number is exceeded, back-up facilitators and additional breakaway venues are required, in proportion to the numbers booked on the workshop.
DurationThe duration of this workshop is 4 - 5 days dependent on level of trainer and content requirements
CustomisationThis workshop can be customised to include elements such as trainer preparation, use of trainer guides, follow-up actions, etc. Clients are invited to liaise with us in order to determine the format of workshop that would work best for them.
