Strategic Selection is a behaviourally based selection skills programme that is designed to optimise your recruitment and selection process.

Competency Outputs

By the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the role of selection in the overall HR development and management function
  • Identify and overcome their main barriers to selecting and recruiting the best candidates
  • Indentify the critical success factors for a job
  • Effectively screen applicants
  • Effectively interview candidates using competency based interviewing skills
  • Understand and apply fair evaluation and decision making processes

The module emphasises the importance of competency based interviewing and highlights how poor selection can prevent organisations from achieving their objectives.

  • Decision making skills

Methodology

Interactive presentation and group discussion; self analysis; skills practices and application planning.
